Yael Rizowy was born into an English & Spanish speaking household in Chicago and then moved to the small island of Manhattan *cue Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin* where she was raised. She studied Drama at LaGuardia Arts High School where she received the Father Fame Award, and continued her education at The Boston Conservatory where she graduated Cum Laude with her BFA in Musical Theater. Based in New York, Yael took Advanced Improv classes at UCB and Musical Improv classes at The Magnet. She enjoys collaborating and keeping busy. You will often find her working on a new project, and finding new spots to eat in and around the city!
Some of her hobbies include: Traveling, beat-boxing, playing Bop-IT, and cooking. She also looks up to the great comedians Carol Burnett, Gilda Radner, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Robin Williams, Will Ferrell, and Fred Armisen...to name a few.
